Certificates & Compliance
Compliance is a question of which standards we work to and which documents we can show, not a slogan. WINTEL lists the certifications it holds and the standards it builds against on this page, and distinguishes clearly between what is documented and what is still being gathered. Where a certificate scan has not yet been published, we say so — ask and we will share the document directly.
Certifications we hold
The following are stated by the company as held qualifications. Certificate scans are available on request — we would rather share the actual document than rely on a logo.
RoHS
Restriction of Hazardous Substances — compliance for EU market placement.
CE
Conformité Européenne — for products placed on the European market.
FCC
Federal Communications Commission — for products placed on the US market.
SGS
Third-party testing and verification house; referenced in company-stated qualifications.
Ask for the scan: email cathy@go-wintel.com and we will send the certificate file for the standard you need.
Standards we build against
- RoHS substance restrictions for EU market placement
- CE marking requirements for the European market
- FCC requirements for the US market
- SD Association speed class and capacity class specifications for TF / MicroSD products
- USB-IF signalling and interface conventions for USB products
What we are still gathering
- Named customer references and project case studies
- Third-party certifications (ISO / CE / FCC / RoHS) certificate scans
- Independent test reports (capacity, endurance, failure rate)
- Independent test reports (capacity, endurance, failure rate) — pending
These are published as gaps rather than filled with plausible detail. Request the document and we will share what we have.

Which certifications does WINTEL hold?
SGS, RoHS, CE and FCC. They are held at company level; which certificate applies to a specific product is confirmed per order rather than assumed from the general list.
Can I get copies of the certificates?
Reports are available on request for a specific order. They are sent for the purpose of your compliance file, and the scope statement on each report matters more than the logo — check what it actually covers.
Do certificates cover customised products?
Not automatically. A certificate covers the configuration that was tested, so a change of material, print method or capacity can sit outside its scope. If the certificate has to match the product you are buying, say so before production so the gap is closed in advance.
