Clearance USB Flash Drives

In short

There is no clearance stock listed at the moment. Clearance lots appear here only when a production overrun, a cancelled order or the tail of a finished run actually leaves finished drives in our warehouse — we do not manufacture stock to populate this page. If you want to be told when the next lot is listed, send us your email and the body styles or capacity bands you would take, and we will write to you before the lot goes on the page.

There is nothing in stock today

The list is currently empty. That is the honest state of the warehouse, not a page under construction. Clearance lots are a by-product: they appear when a run overproduces, an order is cancelled, or a finished job leaves a tail. We do not make drives in order to have something to discount.

Leave your email and tell us the body styles or capacity bands you would take. You get one email when the next lot is listed, before it is announced anywhere else. No newsletter, no follow-up sequence.

Where clearance stock comes from

Nothing here is manufactured to be cheap. These are the only four situations that put finished drives back into stock, and none of them is planned — which is exactly why the list is sometimes empty.

Production overrun

A run makes 3–5% extra to cover handling damage and test rejects. When the batch ships with fewer rejects than planned, the surplus stays in the warehouse.

Cancelled order

Produced, tested and packed, then the programme was cancelled or postponed. The goods are finished; only the buyer is missing.

Tail of a finished order

The remainder of a larger run after the ordered quantity was delivered. Too few for another buyer’s full order, too many to scrap.

Sample and approval stock

Units made for sampling and approval rounds, returned to stock once the programme went to production.

Plain-bodied stock can still be engraved or printed with your logo. Pre-printed lots cannot.

What you give up, stated plainly

A clearance lot is not a discounted version of a normal order. It is a different transaction, and four things are fixed that a normal order would let you choose.

  • The quantity. There is a physical number of units and it cannot be increased. If you need more than a lot holds, the balance has to be a regular order at regular pricing.
  • The body, colour and capacity. These are already made. A clearance lot cannot be re-cased, re-coloured or re-populated.
  • The surface, on printed lots. An existing customer mark cannot be removed or over-printed.
  • Continuity. There is no restock. If the drives are going into a product you ship for years, a clearance lot is the wrong source — take one batch, then move to a regular order before you run out.

If those four points are acceptable, the saving is real and there is nothing hidden in it. If any of them is not acceptable, the lot is wrong for you and we would rather say so at the quotation stage.

How to take a lot

  1. Quote the lot code. The lot code shown in the table, and the quantity you can take. Without the code we cannot tell which stock you mean.
  2. We confirm availability and condition. Including photographs of the actual units if the lot is pre-printed or you are taking the whole quantity.
  3. You approve, we quote formally. Unit price against the remaining quantity, packing, Incoterms and shipping origin, all in writing.
  4. Payment and dispatch. Stock is packed and can move quickly — but it is only held once payment terms are agreed, not on enquiry.

Ask to hear first

Tell us the body style and capacity band you would take, and we will write when a matching lot is listed. We reply to business enquiries within 1 business day.

Frequently asked questions

Why are these drives cheaper — is the flash a lower grade?

No. The material is the same grade we quote on a regular order, and the build is the same. The difference is that the time and setup cost behind these units has already been spent: tooling was cut, samples were approved, the production slot was booked and paid. On a new order you pay for those again. On this stock you do not. If a lot used a different grade, it is stated on the lot.

Is the clearance price available if I reorder later?

No. Clearance pricing applies to the units physically in stock, while they last. Once a lot is gone, the same specification returns to normal project pricing, which is quoted against your quantity, body, capacity and schedule. We would rather say this now than have you build a budget on a price that cannot be repeated.

Can you print our logo on a clearance lot?

On plain-bodied lots, yes — laser engraving or print depending on the material, quoted per lot. Lots marked as pre-printed already carry a previous customer’s mark and cannot be over-printed or stripped. Those are only suitable if the existing artwork is acceptable or the drives are for internal use. The lot table states which is which; we will not send printed stock against a request for your own logo.

Can I take part of a lot, or must I take all of it?

Either. You can take the full remaining quantity or a portion of it. We quote against what is left at the time you confirm, and the price per unit depends on how much you take. Partial orders leave the remainder on the page for someone else, so availability is confirmed at the point of order rather than at the point of enquiry.

Can I mix several lots to reach the quantity I need?

Yes, where the capacities, interfaces and bodies suit your use. Mixing lots is normal for giveaway and internal-use programmes. What it will not give you is a single consistent batch for a product you are shipping under your own brand across a long production window — for that, a regular order with one lot code is the correct route.

Can I see the actual units before committing?

Yes. We will send photographs of the actual stock, including the body, the print condition and the packing, and a sample can be shipped for physical approval on larger lots. For pre-printed stock this matters most: a photograph is the only honest way to show what the existing mark looks like on the drive.

Why do quantities on this page change without notice?

Because the stock is real and it moves. A lot can be reserved by another buyer between your enquiry and your confirmation, and the page is updated when that happens rather than being kept artificially full. The date at the top of the table is the last time the list was checked against the warehouse.
