What does a flash memory quotation include, and what is extra?

In short

A complete quotation states the product, capacity, interface, flash grade, any specified source or controller, unit price, tooling (if any), packaging, the Incoterm and who arranges freight, payment terms, lead time and how long the price is valid. What is "extra" is usually the ocean freight, insurance and import duty (under FOB), third-party re-testing to a specific certificate, and any post-production service you did not ask for. Reading the quote for those lines tells you the real landed cost, not just the factory price. A quote that hides these is the one to distrust.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the quote not show landed cost?

Because freight and duty depend on your forwarder and destination, which we do not control under FOB. We show the factory price clearly and flag what you add, so the total is yours to compute, not guessed by us.

Is tooling in the unit price?

No, it is a separate line. Splitting it lets you see the break-even on reorders instead of a blended number that hides the trade-off.
