What are your payment terms, and how long is a quotation valid?
Payment is 30% deposit with the balance due before shipment by T/T, and quotations are held for 30 days from the date they are issued. Both are stated on the quotation itself rather than on a general terms page, so the figures that apply to your order are the ones you were given before you committed. Incoterms are FOB Shenzhen. What will move is the deposit balance for a first order, the timing against a long production window, and any arrangement where you use your own freight — tell us where you are in the process and we confirm the terms that fit, in writing, on the quotation.
The terms stated on every quotation
These are the standard position. They are written on the quotation for your order, not quoted separately from a policy page.
- Deposit: 30% of the order value.
- Balance: 70% due before shipment, by T/T.
- Quotation validity: 30 days from issue.
- Incoterms: FOB Shenzhen.
When the terms are worth renegotiating
Four situations come up often enough to be worth raising before the order is placed, not after the goods are built.
| Situation | What is worth settling | Why it comes up |
|---|---|---|
| First order with a new buyer | Deposit amount, and the stage at which testing is reported | Both sides are new to each other and neither wants to fund the whole run |
| Long production window | Balance timing against the shipment date rather than a fixed date | A fixed date can fall before the goods exist |
| You use your own freight forwarder | Handover point and who holds the goods between test and collection | Own-account collection changes where responsibility transfers |
| Repeat orders on a rolling schedule | Terms held constant across batches | A changed term mid-programme is how a consistent supply quietly stops being consistent |
What the quotation has to state
A quotation that is silent on terms is not a quotation. Ours states price, validity, payment, incoterms and the configuration being built.
- Price per unit, against quantity — not a range.
- Quotation validity, so you know how long the price is held.
- Payment terms and incoterms.
- The configuration: capacity, grade, controller and interface. The price means nothing without it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I pay by credit card or PayPal?
Project volumes are settled on the terms stated on the quotation. If you need a different method, tell us before the order is confirmed rather than after the goods are built.
Are the terms the same for every buyer?
The standard position is stated above. It is the starting point on the quotation, not a fixed rule — tell us your situation when you send the enquiry and we confirm the terms that apply to your order.
What happens if the quotation expires before I order?
Ask for a re-quote. Because the price depends on configuration and market conditions rather than on a fixed schedule, we re-run the figure against what you currently need.
Is the 30% deposit refundable if we cancel before production?
That depends on where the order stands — before production starts, during production, or after testing. Raise it at the point you send the specification, and it will be set out in writing before you commit.
