What happens to my tooling after the production run?
The mould we cut for your custom shape is your property and we hold it for your reorders rather than scrapping it. It stays stored and reserved for your batches, and the same tool is what keeps a later order the same shape as the first. If you stop ordering and want the tool returned or destroyed, tell us and we do whichever you choose; we do not quietly reuse a customer-owned mould for another job. Tooling is a one-time cost amortised over your repeats, which is why stating ownership in the order matters.
During the relationship
We store the mould and pull it for your reorders, holding the shape consistent across batches.
The tool is logged against your order, not treated as shared inventory.
If you leave
On request we return the tool to you or destroy it and confirm in writing.
We do not transfer a customer-owned mould to another customer under any circumstance.

Frequently asked questions
Do I pay storage for my mould?
Standard holding for reorders is included; we do not invoice a separate storage fee for tools we expect to use again. If a long dormancy is expected, we confirm the arrangement up front.
Can the same tool make a slightly different product later?
Only with your agreement. A change to what the tool produces is a design change and comes back to you in writing before it is built.
