Can you match a sample product I send you?
Yes, this is a normal way to start a custom order: you send a sample drive or card and we assess what it would take to build the same thing. We measure the mechanical form, identify the interface and capacity we can confirm by test, and tell you honestly what we can and cannot replicate — including where a claimed spec does not match the physical unit. A sample tells us what the product can be; a production batch sample tells us what it is. We build against a written specification confirmed from the sample, not against the sample alone.
What we do with your sample
Measure the form factor, housing and any marking.
Confirm interface and a realistic capacity range by our own test where possible.
Write a specification from it and quote against that, flagging anything the sample implies but we cannot verify.
What we will not do
We will not copy another brand’s trademark or pass off a clone as the original product. Matching a form and a function is fine; copying a brand is not.

Frequently asked questions
Do I get the sample back?
Usually yes, if you ask. Tell us at the start whether the sample is for assessment only or whether you need it returned, because some test steps are destructive to the unit.
Will my matched product be identical to the sample?
To the confirmed specification, yes. Where the sample hides something we cannot verify, we state that in the quote so the batch is not quietly different from what you handed us.
Working on a specification?
Send us the product type, capacity, quantity and target date. We reply to business enquiries within 1 business day.
