Do you provide engineering samples before mass production?
Yes, and for custom or embedded orders we recommend it. An engineering sample is built to your specification before the full run so you can confirm the form, interface, capacity and marking on a real unit rather than from a drawing. For a standard product a sample is a quick check; for a new mould or a UDP built to your host, the sample is the gate that stops a wrong assumption from reaching a whole batch. Sample approval precedes mass production, and the approved sample becomes the reference the batch is checked against.
When a sample is essential
New mould or custom shape — the sample proves the tool before you pay for a run.
UDP or semi-finished board built to your host — the sample confirms enumeration and fit.
Printed artwork on a drive or card — the sample proves the mark before mass print.
How it feeds production
The approved sample is kept and compared against a unit from the batch. That comparison is what makes a repeat order the same product, not a hope.

Frequently asked questions
Is the engineering sample free?
For standard products a sample is often low or no cost; for a new mould the tooling cost is separate from the sample. We state both in the quotation so the sample cost is clear before we build it.
How long does a sample take?
Less than a full run, because there is no batch behind it. The time is set by the configuration and, for a new mould, by the tooling — we confirm it with the quote.
